Gym-LOK interlockable rubber tiles are produced from 100% non-porous rubber compound and were designed to absorb shock. They weigh approx. 4.5kgs per tile and have good insulation and wear resistance properties.
Care & maintenance of mats: All new rubber mats may have a silicone release agent on the surface; this is to protect the rubber so it does not stick to the steel mould during production. If you wish to remove this, then light scrubbing with hot soapy water (solution of washing up liquid & hot water) and dry with a clean cotton cloth should remove this with no problems. Clean occasionally with hot soapy water or a common floor cleaning solution. This product is produced from rubber and will have a rubber odour.
