Non Woven Fiberglass/Polyester Laid Scrims
EDENGENE COMPOSITES - laid scrims are applicable from cellar to roof. They hold doublesided adhesive tapes and foam strips in shape, view to reinforce insulating material and aluminium foils. In fact of their permeability they are perfect for all materials which have to be breathable. Air and vapor barriers are even stronger because of the scrims. Introduction:This laid Scrim is a kind of economic reinforcing non-woven fabric made from continuous filament yarn(Fiberglass, or Polyester etc.) in square shape of an open mesh construction with an ultra-light mass unit (6-28g/m2), which generally applies to increase tear strength, dimensional stability, facilitate handling or act as a carrier of adhesive to be used in secondary bonding. It is typically applied when woven fabrics are too heavy and knitted products are too pliable for the application. The scrim producing process by chemically bonds non-woven yarns, also are able to enhancing the scrim with a unique glass/polyester veil, that allows for various customized demands.
