Limed Carbonized Oak Engineered Wood Flooring
Our limed carbonized oak flooring is constructed from the best European Oak (French Oak) for the top layer and bonded onto a multi-plywood base, this ensures longevity and stability. The boards are pre-finished in a ABCD grade, this means some boards will be clean and others will feature small to medium sized knots. The flooring are carbonized(smoked), lightly brushed and a limed effect is applied on the surface, tongue and grooved on sides and ends
Construction Detail
1. more satble with fewer failures than with solid floors (gapping,crowning and cupping).
2. wider and require no top nailing like solid floor, achievable becuase of a muilti-plywood base.
3. available in a range of prefinished colors and treatments same as solid one.
4. faster installation time due to prefinished products & lower installation cost.
5. less waste than a solid timber floor,engineered floorboard usually factort 5% compared with 10%-15% waste with solid floorboard installation.
