Product Description
Why African teak hardwood decking African teak also called Iroko , is an extremely popular hardwood, especially in high-end domestic locations. Its highly versatile nature allows it to also be used as cladding and slatted screens. Colours range from a light yellow-brown to a deeper golden-brown, but tend to darken slightly over time, providing a rich and evocative colour tone.
African teak (Chlorophora excelsa) is native to the west coast of Africa. It is tough, dense and very durable (660kg/m3 on the Janka Hardness scale). It is frequently used in decking, cladding and slatted screens where durability is a requirement thanks to Iroko's highly versatile nature.
Iroko is an attractive alternative to Burma Teak, while the price is much lower than Burma teak , from 2.8USD/SQFT -3.4USD/SQFT . It resembles Burma Teak in grain patterns and colour after ageing. The grain is interlocking and the texture is medium to coarse with open pores. It is a light yellow-brown colour when freshly cut, but quickly turns to a darker golden-brown with age.

- 1x20ft' container = 1100m2 for 20mm thickness decking plank with wood pallet
- All cartons with shipping mark will be sealed by waterproof plastic film to prevent dampness on sea freight.

2. Prices we offered is based on factory direct cost, 30%-40% lower than market retail price. Shipping cost & custom cost are calculated seperately.
3. Normal lead time is 25-35 days depend on quantity & plank specifications.While in hot shipping season , order will be probably a little bit delayed. Pls keep informed before order confirmation.
4. Deposit payment is 50% of order amount by wire transfer, shipping effected against balance. Once production commence, deposit payment shall not be returned.
5.Shipping freight charge is based on goods volume, weight & destination port, as well as Custom cost( different countries may have different V.A.T)
To secure the goods during shipping, client can add 0.7% shipping insurance before our delievry.
Client may arrange sea freight by themself or calculate shipping with other goods ordered from China ,then we would be responsible loading on container from our side only.
